Adam Welsh
Adam's credits as a performer include 'Riff' in West Side Story (Suite no.2) at the Barbican. 'The Black Monk' in The Killing Game(Ionesco) at the BAC; 'Fick' in Raindogs at the Trafalgar Studios. 'Leakey' in the World Premiere of Skellig, directed by Braham Murray (Manchester Royal Exchange) and 'Andy' in the original cast of 'Dreamboats and Petticoats' at the Savoy Theatre in Londons West End.
He recently made his directorial debut with a bold, site-responsive rendering of 'Romeo and Juliet' for MokitaGrit productions. Adam has also been an Assistant Director to Michael Fentiman (RSC) and to Andrew Macbean (Royal National Theatre/West End)As a Music Director, Composer and Assistant Music Director, Adam has worked at the BAC and for Bill Kenwright Ltd on tour and in the West End. Adam recently worked as a performer for Druid Theatre with Tony Award winning director Garry Hynes on Sean O'caseys 'The Silver Tassie. This production toured Ireland and transferred to the Lincoln Centre in New York last year. He can currently be found acting and puppeteering in the National Theatre production of War Horse in the West End.
