Shani Erez
Shani graduated from Central School of Speech and Drama and since then has been working as an actor, director and deviser. Acting credits include: nationwide tour of Others (The Paper Birds Theatre Company), Chaika Casino at Theatre Souk (Theatre Delicatessan). Orestes: Re-Examined (Southwark Playhouse), Unveiling Hagar (New End Theatre); Bluebeard (Brompton Cemetery) and the world premier of The Masculine Law (Tara Arts & Amnesty International). She is a company member of Bold & Saucy Theatre Compnay, with whom she collaborated on Collide, Fat Doreen's Cafe and Left Behind. Shani performed and devised as a company member of the Alona Peretz Company in the improvisation piece Rak Rega.
Directing credits include: 'Daily Hell' at the Old Red Lion's new writing festival REDfest (Winner of Best Director Award); 'Broken Down' for Rapid Writers Response at Theatre503; and Co-Director for The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) at the New Red Lion. Shani is an Israeli actress, radio broadcaster and journalist. This is her first collaboration with Flying Orchard.
